GC Realty & Development is hiring a Work Order Approval Specialist-a systems-savvy, maintenance-literate operator who owns the approval process from start to finish and keeps both residents and internal teams flowing with fast, accurate, and fair decisions.

In this role, you're not just clicking "approve." You're the bridge between maintenance chaos and customer satisfaction.

You'll work alongside our Resident Services team to:

  • Review and approve (or reject) maintenance work orders with accuracy and authority

  • Communicate directly with residents on maintenance needs and chargebacks

  • Spot red flags, resolve disputes, and escalate issues before they become fires

  • Monitor timelines, follow up on delays, and ensure nothing slips through the cracks

  • Support internal teams by owning your lane and anticipating what's next

What You Bring

  • 6+ months in a maintenance coordination, dispatcher, or remote property management role

  • 1+ year in customer-facing or operations support roles

  • Experience reviewing scopes of work or maintenance pricing preferred

  • Strong English writing and speaking skills (B2/C1 level or higher)

  • Access to reliable equipment (computer, webcam, 2 monitors, stable internet)
