GC Realty & Development is hiring a Customer Service Specialist-a sharp, composed communicator who thrives in high-volume settings, solves problems quickly, and takes pride in delivering a remarkable resident experience every single time.

The Mission: Deliver the GC Realty Experience™-Consistently and Completely

In this role, you're the front line of our service promise.

You'll work closely with residents to:

  • Manage all inbound communication (email, chat, phone, text)
  • Answer questions, resolve problems, and escalate when needed
  • Track every touchpoint with precision using our internal tools
  • Coordinate move-outs and ensure every step is closed out cleanly
  • Work cross-functionally to make sure nothing slips through the cracks

What You'll Own

  • Daily management of all resident communication channels
  • Accurate task creation and assignment within internal systems (Podio, Comms App)
  • Coordination of move-out logistics, including confirmations and key returns
  • Quality documentation and follow-through for every resident touchpoint
  • Cross-team communication and support, especially during coverage gaps
  • Problem reporting and participation in continuous improvement discussions

What You'll Gain

Compensation: $7-$9 USD per hour

Location: Fully remote (quiet home workspace with reliable internet required) Schedule: Full-time, 8 AM - 5 PM Central Standard Time

What You Bring

  • 1+ year experience in customer service and administrative roles (3+ preferred)
  • Experience working in a tech-enabled, fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills-written and verbal (English fluency required)
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize with calm focus
  • Proficiency with digital tools (e.g., email systems, task managers, CRMs)
