We're looking for a Property Management Team Lead to work directly with our investor/clients who takes ownership, moves fast, and knows how to balance urgency with professionalism.

Role Overview
As a the Property Management Team Lead, you are the primary point of contact for property owners. You'll manage client communication, coordinate with internal teams, review financials, obtain approvals, and ensure owners feel informed, confident, and cared for. This role requires strong judgment, emotional intelligence, and the ability to stay calm and decisive-even when things get complicated.

- $80K + 20% in Performance-Based Compensation paid out monthly

Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for property owners, ensuring proactive communication across all main touchpoints, and that all questions and concerns are handled promptly and effectively.
- Respond to client emails, calls, and texts within 2 hours
- Deliver the GC Realty Experience™ by being proactive, responsive, and solution-oriented
- Keep clients informed of issues, next steps, and outcomes before they have to ask
- Coordinate closely with leasing, maintenance, and finance teams to ensure alignment
Team Management and Accountability
- Oversee and mentor a small operations/customer service team responsible for managing day-to-day property activities, while setting clear expectations for service and responsiveness.
- Hold team members accountable for results by monitoring performance, addressing gaps quickly, and ensuring follow-through on responsibilities.
- Address performance issues directly and professionally, having honest conversations that drive improvement and clarity. Provide coaching and feedback to help team members grow while maintaining high service standards.
- Step in to resolve escalated issues with residents, clients, or vendors when situations become complex or sensitive.
Financial & Operational Support
- Review property financials and explain ROI, concessions, and statement corrections clearly to clients
- Obtain owner approvals for work orders, turnovers, and capital improvements
- Participate in renewal and resident negotiations when needed
- Coordinate strategy calls when units sit vacant without applications
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of direct, client-facing experience in residential property management (SFH or multifamily)
- 3+ years of experience managing a team, including setting expectations, providing feedback, and addressing performance challenges.
- Ability to get things done in a super busy environment
- Comfortable handling difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working in property management systems
